Investigational FGFR3 inhibitor
TYRA-300
Dabogratinib, or TYRA-300, is an experimental cancer and growth-disorder drug, not a muscle builder. It targets FGFR3 more narrowly than medicines such as erdafitinib. Researchers are testing whether that selectivity can help certain cancers and children with achondroplasia. Side effects and long-term safety are still being studied.
A discovery paper and early clinical/preclinical reports describe selectivity and antitumor activity; efficacy and long-term safety remain under study.
Human safety profile is still being characterized; potential class effects include phosphate, skin/nail, eye and GI changes, but exact risks cannot be assumed from approved FGFR drugs.
Trial-protocol monitoring only. Any achondroplasia use belongs in a registered pediatric study with specialist oversight.
Investigational; being studied in FGFR3-altered cancers and pediatric achondroplasia. It is not approved and not a performance-enhancement drug.
