Nebivolol lowers blood pressure and slows the pulse, so it is discussed when both are running high. Unlike telmisartan or losartan, it directly limits the heart-rate response. Fatigue and dizziness can affect training, it can hide low-blood-sugar warning signs, and stopping suddenly can be risky.
Usual adult hypertension starting amount in the BYSTOLIC label. Kidney/liver impairment, pulse, heart-conduction conditions and interacting medicines affect suitability and dosing.
Randomized trials support blood-pressure/heart-rate effects in selected hypertensive patients. This does not validate self-treatment of clenbuterol toxicity.
Bradycardia, hypotension, fatigue, sexual effects, masking of hypoglycemia and rebound risk if abruptly stopped.
Health problem link: clinician-diagnosed hypertension/tachycardia when a beta-blocker is appropriate; heart rate and blood pressure.
Approved for hypertension; not a performance drug or universal treatment for stimulant tachycardia.
