Anabolic-androgenic steroid
fluoxymesterone
Halotestin has a reputation for strength and aggression more than adding size. It is an oral androgen, not a drug people mainly choose for fullness or scale weight. Those performance descriptions are reported effects rather than well-tested bodybuilding results. Main downsides are mood changes, acne, hair loss and potentially serious liver injury.
HALOTESTIN label for diagnosed male hypogonadism. This does not establish a strength-event, aggression or cutting protocol; the label's separate puberty and cancer regimens are not conflated with replacement.
Human evidence is mainly older oncology/anemia research, not athletic performance trials.
Serious liver toxicity, adverse lipids, edema, virilization, behavioral effects and gonadal suppression.
Liver panel; HDL/LDL/triglycerides; blood pressure; mood/behavior; reproductive hormones.
Prescription/historical indications include selected androgen deficiency and breast cancer; not approved for performance enhancement.
