Anabolic-androgenic steroid
nandrolone phenylpropionate
NPP is the shorter-release version of nandrolone, the same hormone found in Deca. It is used for size and fullness; more comfortable joints are also reported. It leaves the body sooner than Deca, but it does not repair damaged joints. Water retention, sexual problems, worse cholesterol and suppressed natural testosterone are still possible.
Older randomized anemia research exists. Many practical claims are extrapolated from nandrolone rather than tested specifically for NPP.
Same core nandrolone risks: gonadal suppression, infertility/sexual effects, gynecomastia, erythrocytosis, adverse lipids/blood pressure and cardiovascular risk.
CBC/hematocrit; blood pressure; HDL/LDL/triglycerides; liver markers; reproductive hormones/fertility.
Historical medical use; not approved for bodybuilding. Direct modern NPP-specific evidence is sparse.
